Matthew Christian Pastor

in January 2018, Matthew Christian came to 20th Street as our full-time pastor. He preaches on Sunday mornings, and teaches Sunday and Wednesday evenings as well. Pastor Christian sets the vision for 20th Street. After graduating Full Sail University in Winterpark, FL, he and his wife, Quintessence moved to and lived in Nashville, TN, for 13 years before retuning home to Kenova, WV. Ordained in Nashville, he is a graduate of Theology in Biblical Studies from Liberty University, VA. His liesure activities include, wood-working, novel writing, home-steading, and occasional PC gaming.

Doug Shannon Deacon Emeritus

Saved as a boy by the hearing of the gospel at a church called, the Tabernacle, Doug Shannon has attended 20th Street for many years where he serves the Lord as a faithful deacon. "The Tabernacle building is no longer standing, but the gospel lives on." Exercising his spiritual gifts of teaching and encouragement, brother Doug is a respected elder and godly example in the Christian community..
